Não estou gostando dessa história, as vezes me anima, e em outras me decepciona.

A primeira edição da nova revista Espetacular Homem-Aranha nos EUA traz um retorno  ligado ao passado de Peter Parker

Nessa última quarta-feira, o Homem-Aranha voltou com sua segunda revista mais clássica, a Peter Parker: Spetacular Spider-man. Dessa vez, quem cuida dos roteiros é o novato Chip Zdarsky que vem se destacando bastante na Marvel nos últimos tempos e ele está acompanhado do aclamado Adam Kubert nesse primeiro arco. E para quem acreditava que seria um começo morno do dia a dia da identidade secreta do herói teve uma grata surpresa no interior da revista.

Como era de se esperar, a edição Peter Parker: Spetacular Spider-man se foca no homem por detrás da máscara, tendo participação ativa do Tocha Humana e o colocando sua amizade em alta conta. A edição também apresenta um potencial interesse amoroso para o herói na figura de Rebecca London, uma comediante de Stand-up, que o Homem-Aranha e o Homem-Formiga salvam de um assalto. Mas a coisa mais surpreedente da edição vem na última página quando revela-se que Teresa Parker está na cidade. Lembra dela? É a irmã perdida do nosso herói. Ou quase isso




Já faz mais de um ano que a Panini lançou por aqui a Graphic Novel do Homem-Aranha chamada Negócio de Família. Escrita por Mark Waid e James Robinson, com arte espetacular de Gabriele Dell'Otto e Werther Dell'edera. Nela, a revelação surpreendente de que os pais espiões de Peter Parker tiveram um segundo filho veio como um golpe no estômago de Peter. Ele era cético a todo momento sobre essa história e tinha boas razões. No final, tudo não passou de uma manipulação do Rei do Crime com uma ajudinha do Mentallo. No fim, ela era Teresa Durand, que foi enganada para acreditar naquele relato falso e jogar mais uma vez o passado tenebroso de Peter contra ele. Mas será que é isso mesmo?


Um antigo associado dos agentes Parkers chamado Emile Chigaru, pareceu surpreso ao ver analisar posteriormente o DNA de Teresa. A série fica ainda mais misteriosa quando no final, um breve flashback realmente revela que Mary estaria grávida mais uma vez e ambos discutiam a possibilidade de voltarem a ter uma vida em família de novo. Anos se passaram desde sua publicação e mesmo com as Graphic Novel existindo no cantinho da cronologia da Marvel, elas são ainda consideradas válidas. Homem-Aranha: Negócio de Família foi realmente bem recebida na época e já estava mais que na hora da Marvel voltar a mexer nesse assunto e aproveitar seus frutos.

Teresa se apresenta para Johnny Storm na nova revista mensal como Teresa Parker e não dá pra saber até que ponto há a correlação com a Graphic Novel. O que sabemos é que há um certo recente interesse da SHIELD em torno do herói (como evidenciado na edição do Free Comic Book Day de Maio) e que o Rei do Crime vai voltar a atrapalhar a vida de todos (como revelou-se no resumo da edição #3 de Peter Parker: Spetacular Spider-man).

Não li a história. Mas achei a ideia original ruim demais... retcon pra mostrar que o Peter tem uma irmã. Depois acham que o casamento que é desnecessário...

Eu comprei isso meio por acaso quando saiu aqui no ano passado. Não é uma ideia boa, nem original, mas é bem escrita e a arte é legal. Vale como diversão sem compromisso cronológico (como eu encarei na época que li), pq a história vai e volta, querendo deixar esse ar de mistério msm q esteja fechadinha a história, como se fosse um filme estilo 007. O problema é qdo encaixa na cronologia, aí fica bem tolinha a história.

A personagem não é ruim, é uma espiã, estilo SHIELD e tal... mas poderia ser só isso, eles se conheceram nessa circunstância bizarra, ela compõe o casting do Aranha, mas sem esse link "misterioso" q é besta.

Não gostei.

Gostei. É bom dar uma mexida no status quo dos personagens de vez em quando. Querer que continue tudo igual como nos últimos 60 anos é ruim, o personagem precisa de novos ares e evoluir com novas tramas.

Concordo. Mas não gosto dos rumos escolhidos. Acho que esqueceram o que é Homem-Aranha (ou eu que nunca entendi).

Depende do ponto de vista que cada um tem do personagem também.
Acho que não é questão de entender ou não um personagem, e sim o ponto de vista que você tem dele.

Eu concordo. Cada um tem sua versão preferida de um personagem e cada personagem tem diversas interpretações. É o que eu sempre falava do Superman New 52: ele pode ser o Superman, mas não é o meu Superman. Acho que muita gente se sentia assim. Como tem muita gente que acha que o Batman bom é o do Burton ou o do West.

Mesmo o Aranha: nunca gostei do Parker do Maguire. Não sentia que ele era o HA que eu conhecia, mas quem cresceu com ele pede até hoje pra ele voltar e não suporta o Garfield.

Hoje meu Homem-Aranha é o Miles. Ele é o Aranha jovem, com problemas jovens que eu curto no Aranha. O Peter está lá, cresceu e tomou novos rumos. Têm seu público, que não sou eu. Não vou ficar chateado, por que não falta opção pra mim.

Realmente esqueceram. RIP Stan Lee's Spider Man

O Peter cresceu, e é isso que quero ver na revista dele. Mas é muito retcon, muita teoria da conspiração, muito crossover, muita mega saga, muita vontade de ser molecão... O Strac foi quem melhor amadureceu o personagem e depois disso nada foi suportável. Pelo menos na minha visão do que é o Aranha
